What We're Looking For
We are looking for a Community Success Coordinator to join our growing office in Amsterdam. The ideal candidate will be passionate about customer support as a career, have strong critical thinking skills, be able to give and accept feedback about processes and performance, able to work individually as well as in a group, have a strong sense of self motivation and hold themselves to a high standard. A Community Success Coordinator at Discogs supports users not only when contacted, but actively seeks opportunities to impart their site knowledge to the community and assist them in high-level usage of the site. This will be done directly via messages or forum posts, or indirectly through quarterly projects to improve site efficiency and support methods.

Your Wheelhouse

  • Provide clear, concise, and empathetic written responses to support requests with Discogs marketplace policies and processes, user account activity, and basic discography guidance.
  • Work directly with the community to identify and resolve problems, and provide data to support team leaders to assist in development updates.
  • Master Discogs marketplace and account policies, and be prepared to assist members in working within guidelines for the benefit of the community.
  • Review and respond to community support concerns in writing (no phone or live chat systems are used).
  • Represent Discogs with pride and enthusiasm in all interactions with the community.

How You Got Here

  • At least 2 years experience in a customer-facing position and team-oriented environment.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) and in French (written and spoken). Any other widely-spoken language will be highly valued.
  • Experience in setting and tracking goals in a team-based work environment.
  • A proven ability to adapt quickly to company and procedural changes.
  • Excellent time management and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work select weekend flex shifts.
  • Above all, a genuine passion for music!
