What We're Looking For
We are looking for a Search Engine Marketer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of growing organic traffic and improving SERP rankings. This role is responsible for managing an external SEO agency, executing and reporting on all day-to-day digital marketing campaigns across Google Display Network, Adwords, Social Media advertising, and Direct Buys.

In addition to external advertising, this role will also optimize the Discogs publishing platform using Google Doubleclick. This position requires a marketer that is passionate about conversion strategies as well as growing organic traffic. As a member of a small team, you will be responsible for driving traffic and optimizing for conversion on Discogs. This position will require working cross functionally with Discogs teams and external SEO agency. It is critical to exercise a strong sense of initiative and collaboration.

Your Wheelhouse

  • Leverage SEO best practices in collaboration with SEO agency to deliver detailed recommendations to improve website architecture, content, linking, and other factors to improve SERP rankings.
  • Leverage various analytics tools to measure SEO performance and competitive performance.
  • Develop, implement, manage and optimize paid search listings (PPC) for multiple sites across a range of search engines and other paid search.
  • Work with product squads and SEO agency to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented sitewide.
  • Work with marketing team and SEO agency to drive SEO in content creation.
  • Perform analysis, testing, and reporting of search marketing campaigns and provide recommendations based on traffic patterns and conversion trends.
  • Manage paid search campaigns to achieve marketing goals and company initiatives.
  • Optimize publisher side ad serving across ad exchanges and networks, and select and on-board new vendors.

How You Got Here

  • 3-5 years of experience in Search Engine Marketing and Search Engine Optimization
  • 2+ years of experience in Project Management with SEO agencies
  • Hands-on knowledge and experience in web optimization, SEM (SEA/SEO), Google AdWords, Google Analytics and keywords analysis for driving campaign design and successful roll-out
  • Experience ranging from copywriting, trafficking, and defining target audiences to help increase conversions
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online and web SEO & marketing
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or equivalent experience.
  • AdOps experience a plus
